Whether you’re a weekend do-it-yourselfer, or a professional contractor, Thrush Sanitation has the services you need to get the job done. Aside from portable toilets, we offer:

Roll-off Dumpsters Our roll-off dumpsters are available with very little notice for a variety of jobs such as remodeling projects, general construction, and disaster cleanup. We offer 20 yard, 30 yard, and 40 yard containers to anywhere within 30 miles of Ottawa. Special event rates are available.

Mobile Storage Units Our mobile storage units are ideal for either short or long term storage use. Our units are constructed out of heavy gauge steel and are sealed to protect your goods from the elements. We can deliver a box to your location and leave it for you at a monthly fee, or after it is filled and locked we can store it at our secure location until you need it re-delivered.

Office Trailers We offer 2 different sized office trailers for construction projects or special events. We have 10′ x 50′ and 8′ x 32′ units available. All of our trailers are new or like new. They are available for monthly or yearly rental and can be delivered within one week of order. Due to location and time involved, there may be a delivery, block and level, and removal charge.

Since January 1st, 2004, Thrush Sanitation has proudly offered Residential and Commercial garbage removal! We are determined to make sure your prices continue to be the best around, and our service is second to none. We have a friendly staff that goes the extra mile by neatly returning your cans to your yard. Our pickup service also includes curbside recycling at no additional charge. Please check our service area map, or call (815)434-5557 to see if we can accommodate your property.

Thrush Sanitation offers a Single-Stream recycling service with all residential service. Single-Stream recycling eliminates the need to seperate all of your recyclable materials, making recycling easy and hassle free. (Contents must remain clean and dry!) Picked up on the same day of service, We at Thrush Sanitation will do everything possible to encourage as many people as we can to become involved with this free service. 18 gallon recycling bins or 64 gallon totes may be obtained by contacting us, or can be purchased at most hardware stores or supercenters.

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2012 THE ILLINOIS E.P.A. (P.A. 97-0287) PROHIBITS THE LANDFILL DISPOSAL OF ALL ELECTRONIC ITEMS AND COMPONENTS. THE ONUS IS ON THE GENERATOR OF THE PRODUCT TO KEEP THESE ELECTRONIC ITEMS OUT OF THE WASTE STREAM. THE PURCHASE LOCATION OF THE NEW PRODUCT WILL ASSUME THE RESPONSIBILITY TO ACCEPT YOUR USED ELECTRONICS OR COMPONENTS. Septic Service

For over 65 years, we have been cleaning and inspecting any and all types of septic systems. Because the possibility exists that one could occasionally experience septic problems, we always remain set up for exceptionally quick response times and prices that will not be beaten. A good rule of thumb is to have your septic system cleaned every 3-5 years.

Since 1945, Thrush Sanitation has been a pioneer in the liquid waste indusrty. We introduced portable restrooms to the Illinois River Valley, constructing them out of plywood and cut 55 gallon barrells. We continue to pride ourselves on innovation in our industry, and demand perfection from our staff in regard to the delivery and service of our portable restrooms. We are capable of providing facilities for any event, and serve more than 7 counties in Illinois. Aside from the standard portable restroom, we offer handicap accessible units, sink units, sling mounted units (for moving with a crane),hand washing stations, and sanitizer stands. We guarantee our prices and service will remain un-matched! Special event rates are available.

If you want top of the line quality from your portable restroom, check into our Comfort Coach. It is a restroom trailer that is divided for men and women with multiple stalls in each side. It has air conditioning, heating, inside and outside lighting, sinks, mirrors, and carpeting. The Comfort Coach is ideal for outdoor wedding receptions or other parties. It requires a standard garden hose and extension cord to operate. Please call as far in advance as possible to ensure it is available for your event.
